Filtech 2019 – Palas GmbH and Filter Integrity Limited – Stephen Smith’s last show

Filter Integrity ltd were delighted to join our friends and partners Palas GmbH on their stand at Filtech 2019 in Cologne.  It is always a very positive show and the stand was very well attended by many of our UK and international colleagues.  Filter Integrity have worked with Palas for 8 years now and we are looking forward to continuing our successful relationship over the coming years.

This meeting however was tinged with a little sadness.  My friend and business partner, Mr Stephen Smith, announced officially that he is taking the opportunity to retire from an active business role.  I have known Stephen for almost 25 years now, at domnick hunter (now Parker Hannifin) and for the past 5 years as a co-director at FIL.

At Filtech this year he was able to catch up with customers, colleagues and friends from the filtration industry for perhaps the final time and say thanks to all who have helped him over all those years.  Many thanks to all at Palas for making it such a hospitable and enjoyable exit for Stephen.

Whilst we are sad to see him leave FIL, we are very happy for Stephen and wish him all the very best for a happy and healthy retirement.
