DSP 3010 — Small Scale Defined Soot Particle Generator

The calibration of particle measuring devices should be conducted with particles being similar to the aerosol which is actually to be measured concerning shape, size, density, surface characteristics and refractive index, for example diesel soot.

The new DSP 3010 generates a soot aerosol from the defined combustion of a combustible, e.g. ethene. The advantages of the DSP 3010 allow the well-directed control of the generated aerosol‘s mean particle size and the mass flow via the air-fuel-ratio.

By means of user friendly software, the desired operation parameters can be adjusted quickly and reproducibly on a touch screen.
