DC system

As with the VKL series deployed successfully worldwide, the DC series of dilution cascade uses the ejector principle. A compressed air supply is not necessary. The DC dilution system works with an external pump. The dilution factors available for selection are 10, 100, 1,000 and 10,000, each with its own aerosol outlet. The DC 10000 can be used up to a particle size of < 5 µm. The DC series, like the VKL series, can be combined with all common particle counters. On request, the DC series can also be operated with external compressed air. This dilution system is used very successfully with filter media test rigs, including Palas® MFP 1000 HEPA and MFP Nano plus according to EN 1822 and ISO 29463, as a shiftable dilution cascade for both DEHS or salt aerosols.
