RBG 1000 Series — Solid Particle Aerosol Generator

RBG 1000 Series — Rotating Brush Powder disperser for extremely low and medium mass flows

DescriptionRBG 1000

The RBG system has been specified for users worldwide for over 25 years and uses a rotating brush principle to reliably disperse non-cohesive powders including mineral dusts, medical compounds, pollen etc. in the size range ‹100µm and with fine fractions ‹100nm.

Monolithic solids like chalk can be dispersed consistently as a fine aerosol with repeatable concentration.

The RBG 1000 Series based around a dosing reservoir length of 70mm and by using an interchangeable range of reservoir diameters (7, 10, 14, 20 and 28mm) and adjustment of feed rates 1mm/hr to 700mm/hr, mass flowrates of 40mg/h to 480g/hr are achievable. The generators can be switched between manual and automatic modes and be controlled from an external PC if required. User access to the dosing unit is via a hinged side panel.

The standard model can operate with a 200 mbar back pressure at the outlet and has an replaceable reservoir.

Alternative versions are also available including a pressurisable variant (upto 3 bar back pressure), a low feed rate variant, operating at a max. of 300 mm/hr for more sensitive control of mass flow and a version with a rapid remove reservoir for application where monitoring of dosed weight is specified.

Five models are available:
