The Fidas® range of Environmental dust monitors is offered in different model versions to provide a cost effective solution for specific applications in the reliable indoor / outdoor air quality measurement (IDQ / ODQ). All Fidas® systems are equipped with a LED light source with high light stability and long lifetime and an inline filter holder to allow for collection of the contaminant on a filter media and subsequent investigation of the composition of the aerosol.

The Fidas® 300 and Fidas® 300 S models are designed to allow compliance of the sampling systems with the current European standards for Ambient Air monitoring by using the specified designs of sampling heads and operating with a high volume flow of 2.3 m3/h. The instrument packages are housed in an IP65 weather-protective enclosure.

The Fidas® 300 and 300 S are equipped with a sampling head PM2.5 complying EN 14907 Ambient air quality. Standard gravimetric measurement method for the determination of the PM2,5 mass fraction of suspended particulate matter and a sampling head PM10 complying with the sampling requirements of EN 12341 Air quality. Determination of the PM10 fraction of suspended particulate matter. Reference method and field test procedure to demonstrate reference equivalence of measurement methods.

Both models are fitted with an Intelligent Aerosol Drying System (IADS), as well as sensors for the measurement of temperature, air pressure and relative humidity. The IADS avoids potential errors in the measurements produced by condensation effects when monitoring in conditions of high humidity.

The Fidas® 300 S adds sensors for the measurement of wind direction, wind speed, amount of precipitation and kind of precipitation (rain, hail, snow) together with an option for GPS data for location registration.

Remote maintenance and data access is also available.
